Post by Renee » Sun Oct 25, 2009 8:11 am

Any idea on when I should expect to hear back from Indiana University-Indianapolis under ED? I went complete 2 weeks ago and cant stand the wait  . I would really appreciate your input.

I'm guessing somewhere near the first week of Dec - but would you update this thread when you get yours? I'm applying to IU-Indy next year ED.

PM'd - thanks for your help and interest.

Also - I love INDY. I am Indiana resident and the price of tuition is terrific - though I'd prefer IU-B if I could get in since tuition is similar. Also, Indy Law has a part-time program which may be good for me.

What is the link to the status checker? It wasn't in my email and I can't find it online.

Click the status checker FAQ link in the email. In the screen that pops up, it is the link right above the status checker faq link.

Assuming the call was with good news, congrats! What are your numbers?

All applicants (I'm RD). She said that this was the first wave of admits that they were doing this year. My numbers are 163/3.9. You apply?

Did you ever live in Indianapolis? I went to Butler for undergrad so I did during that time. I'm a resident, but I lived in the region closest to Chicago. It was like night and day. The only similarities between northern and southern indiana is that we both speak english. I used to like Indy too before I moved there, but after being there for college, i couldn't do it again for law school. for what it's worth, it does have a good rep just about everywhere in the midwest according to my friends who are lawyers or law students now, so if you end up there, its a solid beginning to a legal career.

I haven't lived there - but I do visit a lot. My dad grew up there and speaks very low of it - as in hates the thought of me moving there.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have not heard back but I am very excited to know that some have already got in. Congratulations to everyone on their acceptances. I have a feeling that mine will be coming sometime soon :)

My status checker status changed this morning to "Decision Letter Sent." I am a bit worried though because there is still $0.00 due in the seat deposit section. I guess I will just have to wait and see what the USPS brings.

Just FYI, if you are offered any $$$, the notification comes via small white letter about a week after you receive the acceptance letter.

Where is the status checker? I've been complete for a long time with no status checker email.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
