3.45 171 was me. sorry, got the call at 11:40, called my mom and my coworkers overheard, and insisted i go to lunch before i got the chance to update my LSN.

I know that all of us who have not received calls believe that the sky is falling, but really, how reasonable is it to assume that Penn is going to make all of the ED acceptance calls for this entire cycle in the span of an hour or so?

Not very reasonable. As others have said, ED applicants from the past couple of years were accepted on different days. Give it time.

I'm in pretty much the same boat. They say it takes up to 4 weeks; so I would call after 4 weeks. Until then, there's not much to be said.

so maybe this means not everyone got called today? (unless they got dinged/deferred)

As someone said above, the trend has it that penn will make acceptance calls over a few days or a week. True as this may be, i am not feeling particularly better for not having received any 215 calls today...

yep i'm the second link...someone with almost exactly my #'s got in. i made a small typo on my PS and am wondering if that's it? kicking myself over and over for that....

I'm sure that's not it. You applied pretty close to the deadline, right? Maybe they're just calling in order of completion?
