Didn't write a Why Penn, though I wrote two of their other essays. No change since going "Under Committee Review" on 10/29. However I highly doubt I have YP numbers....so dunno how much this helps.

I'm thinking anyone who is risking YP but didn't care enough to write the 5-year essay won't be checking this thread as obsessively as something like, er, me.

If you want to show further interest this may be the best way.

FWIW I did 2 of the supplementals despite being ED. I didn't feel like fucking around with my top choice.

Define "bad" in relation to Penn's numbers. Are you a URM by any chance?

GPA is somewhere between 25th and median, LSAT is below 25th - I am a URM. Didn't write a Why Penn, but did 2 of the supplemental essays. I applied RD.

Only if it's about twilight. But seriously, is Penn really going to require an additional essay and then YP people anyway? How much more do I need to fellate them to avoid YP?

I wrote a why Penn too. I wonder if there is anything else to be done. I feel like calling them and saying that they are my first choice would make me seem like a stalker.

If you do get WLed a LOCI expressing that sentiment should get you right in. The biggest concern is, if someone gets off the WL, is there any chance at money?
