im almost convinced that they wont get back to a lot of us who are ED just to bump us past the ED deadlines for other schools, than waitlist us. im such a dumbass; i should have been ED to UVA (i was going to apply regardless of my statistical chance, so i might as well gone ED) and once they waitlist/defer/rejected me in their 15 day time line, I could have gone ED to UCLA. arg.

Just got the email about the Admitted Students site, which is apparently now up and running.

To preemptively answer your questions: you need a UCLA-produced student ID to access the site, so there's no way to check to see if you've been admitted without having receive official notification.

I got the packet on 10/30 but never got a phone call. The first communication I got from UCLA after the packet was the email I got just now (3:31 PST) about the admitted students site. I never received a phone call.

OMG, just got the call from Dean Schwartz! In! I'm literally shaking...I can't believe it.

GPA and LSAT around median. RD and out of state (which is why I'm so shocked). Sent 10/30, complete 11/12

Hope this means that more people are going to get calls today!

Yeah, I think that's the only thing that explains it - you generally have to be at or above one of the medians. Hate to see such good numbers get dinged, but I'll be on you getting into USC...

I'm very sorry for the news :( .

A friend of mine was rejected from UCLA last year with a 3.5/167 ED...

BUT, he was accepted to USC (waitlisted, then accepted only days later).

Best of luck!
