Jeeze, those are some similar numbers to mine being waitlisted. How did you find out about the waitlist?

A single tear rolled down my face for no apparant reason one day. Then I got home and noticed the waitlist letter sitting in my mailbox. Does anyone know if merit aid is still going out? No mention in my "you're accepted" phone call, and my grant aid might cover books for one semester...am I out of luck? UCLA is at the top of my list, but not if I can't afford it.

I was also waitlisted, with a 171 and 3.75. This one definitely threw me for a loop. YP or did I just rub them the wrong direction?
