Mine also says "Decision Pending" as of 11/19/09. It went complete 11/17/09. I thought it meant that they needed more applicants to compare you to so it is essentially a deferment. Does this sound plausible? I mean, I figure I'll get rejected with my 3.05 and 164, but I got into UGA so who knows! (I do have a great personal statement, recommendations, and academic addendum).

I submitted thru LSAC 11/19, status checker changed to Application Ready for Review 12/1, received email with Application Complete 12/2, mailings changed to Application Complete/Ready for Review 12/2.

I submitted my app on 10/17 and my status lists me as "Application Ready for Review" as of 10/21. And since then numerous people have been admitted that both applied later and have lower numbers. So I'm really getting frustrated waiting for it to even go under review. Not sure what the hold up is.

+1. I'm in the same boat. I got into W&L and should be hearing back from both Georgetown and Illinois this week.

Wow, and I thought my "Application Ready for Review" since 11/17 was bad. This is so confusing! I wish they had some sort of method. Maybe they do, but I definitely don't understand.

Waiting on G-Town as well. An acceptance from there would certainly hold me over for a long while.

I think that for all of us with "Decision Pending" we can sit back and smoke 'em if we got 'em. No need to continually check the status update, we will be waiting until March.

Has anyone here:

1. Been outright rejected
2. Been waitlisted
3. Had a decision after seeing "Decision Pending"

??

Has anyone that has been accepted so far spent any time in Decision Pending status?

Mine skipped Decision Pending and went straight to Review Complete and packet mailed. Given this was the beginning of November.

I was ready for review on nov 10th i believe. 161/2.8----it says review pending. does this mean and they hate me

It doesn't say that the application has been reviewed, so I'm thinking that they may be dealing with an influx of applications right now, & that we shouldn't take the "decision pending" thing to be a bad sign. Maybe they have a certain batch of applications that they're going through right now, & we'll be getting a decision soon. Maybe I'm wrong. I guess we'll be waiting it out either way!

I'm hoping that is the case. I've been "decision pending" since 11/23, so either they haven't gotten to it yet or they don't hate me enough yet to outright reject me. I'll take it either way.

No clue. I have a 164/3.74 also so I am really confused. I'm starting to become paranoid that they lost it...

all i can think of is that they had this big pile, all in order, and then there was this huge gust of wind and they all got knocked over and mine ended up at the far side of the room, far far away from all the adcoms.
