Just got in via status checker. Says packet mailed 11/4. Weird because they sounded really adamant that people wouldn't hear until March.

Same. My timeline:
Received: 10/21
Complete: 10/28
Decision: 11/3

I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch but my status checker now says: "Congratulations! Admt package sent 11/4"

So I received my FIRST email from W&M today thanking me for my application, and when I signed into the status checker, I found out that I had been admitted...yesterday. This is the timeline:

Submitted App: 10/11
Decision reached: 11/4
Application packet mailed: 11/5

Strange that I received my first email from them after I was accepted, but hopefully this can reassure people who are freaking out about not hearing anything from them yet.

Got the status checker. Apparently I have a decision pending as of 11/2, but it doesn't say what it is yet. Numbers are in my profile.

Sounds like we have a range getting the "Decision pending". Mine was 11/2, so maybe they are just working their way through the list, but all of the status checker emails went out at the same time. Otherwise, we may all have to wait until March 24th as it says on the page:

The majority of decisions will be finalized during the month of March following the application deadline date when the competition in the applicant pool is known and assessed.

I have the 'Decision Pending' message. my LSAT is in the 165-168 range and a GPA in the 3.3-3.6 range. From the sounds of the others in the Congrats/Pending stage, it would seem they're just doing batches. I can't believe that the PP with a 169/3.7 (or whatever he was) wouldn't get in. I'm sticking with the batch concept.

When did you receive your initial Status Checker email with the link and username/password?

edit: please answer in relation to when you received the admit message. For example, did you get the status update 2 days before the admit msg., or did anyone get it the same day?
