I don't think I'm gonna check my status there too often if it could be the same for another half a year. It just worries me that a bunch of people with numbers at exactly my level got in so quickly, yet I didn't hear back. Oh well, guess I gotta wait and find out.
Yeah, it sucks. I have better numbers than many who have heard back already despite submitting last month. It speaks to the arbitrary nature of admissions. It also speaks to how impatient I am.

Since I'm on a budget now after applying to 20 schools, I will go with MD 20/20....

I submitted my application on 11-11 and just got an email today saying that they received it. I really hope I get a quick decision like a few posters on here have!
W&M is my first choice, so I'd be stoked hearing from them before Christmas.

Got a call from a 3L to congratulate me and answer some questions. The guy was from Iowa, like me. Very nice touch, W&M.

I have ignored a few "unknown" numbers in the past few days. I figure if they really want to reach me they can do so by email. I did get an email from the W&M Asian Law Students Association maybe they helped get my application through quickly, ha ha.

Hmm, all I can add is that when accepted you have a "Congratulations! Admit package mailed" in the status checker. So to have:

I also have the review complete as of today. Nothing else in the status/mailings. Good luck everyone; hopefully we'll get a more substantive update later today.

For me, I had "Application is complete/ready for review" as of 9/30
The next update was 11/04 when it said "Congratulations! Admt Packet mailed 11/5"
I don't see any status that said "review complete" in between the two.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
