I think we maybe fighting a winless battle friends, i applaud y'all calling but I'm not holding my breath. this bad economy has made us compete with people twice our age and twice as many applicants

Dr. Britton informed me today that a few applicants would be getting letters basically rejecting them off the waitlist (she also said that I would not be included in this group). Has anyone received these yet?

I haven't gotten anything and my status checker looks the same as well. Did you get any more info on when they expect to decide on whether or not to look at the WL or pending applications? When I called Monday, they said they were still crunching numbers.

No news .... but I'm withdrawing my application this week. I got in to W&L off the waitlist.

I just figured out that I will be attending UTK this fall!! I know it's kind of late in the game, but I was wondering what everyone was doing for housing? I browsed through all the pages of this thread, but didn't find a lot of discussion about it. I was just wondering good places, where people are staying, and the rates? Any current or future students feel free to chime in. Thanks in advance.

Hey, first of Congrats...... you should join the facebook page for the Class of 2013, there has been a lot of movement there about housing, scheduling, roommates, etc..... I just moved to Knoxville and when I was looking there were some great places.....Good luck, let me know if I can help you with anything

Sorry for the delayed reply! But no, I was just debating between UTK and a couple other schools and finally decided to attend UT.
