They clearly state that you must submit the application by Nov. 1st.

It doesn't hurt to email the admissions office and ask, but it seems pretty clear to me.

Yeah, boo. But it actually may hurt to email the admiss. office right? As though I don't know how to read deadlines? bleh.

Haha I wouldn't worry about that...

I highly doubt the admissions office will read your email, write a note about how careless you are, await your application, and then slap the note on top  .

Just tell them exactly what you said here... that you know the "submission" deadline is the 1st, but you're curious as to what would happen if you somehow go complete by the 23rd, anyway.

They clearly state that they send all of the letters for EA on the 15th, not by the 15th.

"they clearly state"... seemed like a 'tude to me. i obviously can read what they state. but some schools say things and do different things, that's why i asked the question. just seemed like the response was unnecessarily rude...

It's been discussed in this thread a couple of times already though...

Wow, if you get offended every time someone says "they clearly state," then you are it for a rough road ahead.

Early Notification Program

For applicants whose applications are submitted by November 1, with the personal statement and fee, and whose files are complete, with both recommendations and LSDAS report, by November 23, 2009, we shall send an admission decision by December 15, 2009. Should you be admitted to the law school, it is a non-binding decision and you would not be required to submit a tuition deposit earlier than mid-April. If you wish to apply to the early notification program, please indicate so on the application for admission. Early notification applicants must take the LSAT no later than the October administration.

This is what I have got from their website.

And this is what the status checker says: "You indicated on your application that you wished to be considered for Early Notification. We will be mailing the decision letter on December 15, 2009"

So the decision will only be sent in regular mail instead of email?

If so, if they mail it on Dec 15th, most of us won't get it for a few days.

Can the OP change the title to be a countdown to 12/15? I think that would really be the most useful/fun.

At this rate I'm unlikely to hear until January. Mail getting to Asia = slow (doubtful they will spring for the express mail option).

At least its December 15th and not January 15th on a pre-November application.

Anyone have any thoughts how my application will be treated since I'm retaking in December but also applied for early notification?

My numbers are currently very strong for BC, but I know for a fact my application hasn't been reviewed yet at many of my other schools where my numbers give me an excellent chance.

I really like BC, so I'm hoping they'll let me in....but does anyone have any thoughts/opinions?

I'm on the same boat. Do law schools know you are retaking if you don't tell them?

Don't count on it.
They usually ask on the app.
