I just joined the forum after getting my first piece of action for the cycle - DR 1/22. I thought I'd put your mind at ease, robin600, that you are not the only one. I'm international, so I suspect that you'll hear before me. Good luck!

I think I'm a ding too. I just called my school's post office and they told me I got a small envelope from BC. That being said, they said that there might be about two pages in the envelope (based on the postmaster feeling it) so I'm not sure if dings come with two or one pages in the envelope or if WL comes with two pages?

Honestly, when I got my letter I thought there were 2 pages in there based on the way it felt, but there was only one. At least they used decent paper to reject me. Not to be a downer, just don't want you getting too worked up cause I thought the same thing.

Sounds like current, based on the "school post office" verbiage.

You're right. Thanks man. Well...........I'm assuming I'll get a ding from Wake too (they accept applicants similar to BC's applicants) so I guess I'll be banking on saftey schools.

Mine came to my permanent address, despite my status checker saying it would go to my current.

Sorry to hear that, man. But thanks for the welcome! I have a new job that has been taking up all of my time so I'm just not on TLS as often these days. I still <3 you guys though!

I wouldn't assume that. I got rejected from BC then got into Wake with over half tuition on the same day.

+1 It's pretty hard to compare wake to BC?

Compare this: http://wake.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats

To this: http://bc.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats

Check BC's 2008 graph--craziness

166 3.87 + Good Softs, 3 Solid LORS and a Good PS

Applied 11/11

Waitlisted after being decision on 1-20-10, small envelope sent to current adress.

Don't let the fact there are multiple sheets in it excite you, I saw multi-colored paper and got a little excited, its just the Wait List response form.

I've got to say, I did not see this coming I was thinking admit w/ potential $, I'm already in at higher ranked BU.

Damn sorry to hear. Congrats on BU though. Both are great schools!

You'll probably get off the waitlist at some point if you express a lot of interest.

BC was my top school before I got a 166 and they became a saftey/target. I almost don't want to submit a LOCI I'm so pissed. What were they thinking?

I've always thought BC was more unpredictable than BU so I have no idea man. Suck it up and send a LOCI-- you may get money later on.

Waitlisted today via snail mail, DR 1/20/10.

Was a little surprised, since my GPA is median-ish and my LSAT is above their 75th. Ah well, such is life.

Congrats to all of those who have received good news recently!

P.S. As I recently received good money from a peer school to BC, I'm likely going to withdraw and clear up some space for you guys. :)
