Portal says decision rendered and it will be mailed in the next few days. Admits, did your portal say the same?

I know some, like UMN, will email dings and mail admits. Also, I received an email today from the BC financial aid office about applying for some scholarship. Should I take this as a good sign? I'm below median, so I didn't have high hopes. I don't want to get ahead of myself. Any admits want to chime in?

When did the both of you go complete?

they told me that it is their policy to mail ALL decisions.

:( This does not seem to bode well for me. Complete 11/12, and nada. But I'm a splitter, so probably WL at best anyway.

I went complete 11/19 and got a decision rendered today. This thread is [strike]sorta[/strike] long so I didn't want to go back and look up all the stuff for the EA people, but does anyone know what the average turn around from when your status checker says decision rendered until you get the mail?

I'm curious because the status checker says "A decision letter will be mailed via U.S. Postal Service within 3-5 days from the Decision Status Date on our On-Line Status Page." This means that on the long side, it could be a week and a half, maybe two weeks (depending on how incompetent your USPS is) before you know if you've been accepted, waitlisted or rejected. Sorta a pain. But I figure with the geographic diversity of TLS, you could get a decent picture of what the actual turnaround is.

People with DR - care to give an estimate of stats (you don't need to give exact numbers, just a range)? I saw one person with pretty good numbers, but I'd like to see if this is a mixed batch or all admits.
