Looking at your acceptance record and you numbers, I'd be surprised if you didn't. :D

i think everyone forgets that 50% of people fall below any law school's median, and it's quite the assumption that all the numbers below the 50% line are splitters. i just happened to hear earlier from a bunch of schools than most people with my numbers.

I didn't mean to insult you, or suggest that you don't deserve your acceptances. I was just taking a cheap shot at you. Sorry! :)

Great point, and I guess I was really only thinking in that context...BUT then again who reads forums on TLS that doesn't really want BIGLaw?

danidancer wrote:One could also argue that Vandy, UCLA, and to an extent Texas, are "national" as well...

One could and many do. But I dont. :P

FreddyBigShot wrote:All kidding aside, from what I've read in other forums the 3Ls at Minny have a brighter future (at least in the shirt-term) than their counterparts at BC.

Unfortunately I think this is the case. But sometimes one needs to ask oneself..."Do I really want to watch baseball in a dome for the rest of my life?"

Wow, that's usually WL territory at worst.

They are being quite odd this cycle.

I thought YP necessitated a waitlist?

Has BC started accepting non-EA applicants yet?

First post? HMM. BC hasnt accepted many 158's! You should be proud.

BTW I dont think they have begun accepting non-EA's. I think moped is a flame.

IF in fact this isnt a flame then congrats!!

I applied EA but I was studying abroad in London this semester. Just arrived home (Texas) to find the BC envelope waiting for me..it was sent on Dec 15th.

Yeah, that's where I got all the numbers for my "lowest-rated law schools" thread that everyone wanted to kill me for starting. So be careful with that site. :D

P.S. There are a lot of unexpected results for that column! Rutgers-Camden has a higher selectivity rate than NYU, Duke, and Fordham! That makes me feel special! And UConn is WAY up there too. They were listed on Princeton Review's 'hardest schools to get in to' list, and that must be why!
