So does anyone know whether the website thing is only for need based aid or will they also announce merit based aid via the website?

I kind of wish there were no status checkers. Such a tease.

I'm not sure what to expect. It seems impossible to predict with BC. I'm just going to hope...

I'm not sure. I'll be making a visit next week though.tram988 wrote:I guess-- thats pretty quick lol. Hopefully he got in. Jrobby are you going to ASW? I want everyone here to meet.mikcou wrote:They went out on thursday so its entirely possible that someone in the area had fast delivery. The letter had my username, eagle id, and finaid keys. So was I admitted? And where do I login with this? I'm so confused..mixed emotions right now.

I'm headed up to the ASW on the 26th. Any advice on where I should stay? (Never been to Boston)

Though I usually stay outside of the city and save a bunch of money. If you don't mind a 20 minute drive in the morning, there are really cheap hotels in Framingham that are probably 200 less than Boston hotels.

Depends on how you're coming in, if youre going to have a car, and how much of Boston you'd like to see (or if youre just interested in the school)ExcitedBlutterance wrote:I'm headed up to the ASW on the 26th. Any advice on where I should stay? (Never been to Boston)

I'm flying in late Thursday night and can rent a car if I need one. I'd like to see at least some of the area. I'll be there until Sunday morning.mikcou wrote:Depends on how you're coming in, if youre going to have a car, and how much of Boston you'd like to see (or if youre just interested in the school)ExcitedBlutterance wrote:I'm headed up to the ASW on the 26th. Re: BC Law 2010
You certainly dont need one. I dont have much for specific suggestions. If you want to see the city its probably best to look for something in the city proper and then take the T out to the school. Downtown is pretty expensive though but the prices go down as you move away from the absolute center of the city. The city is quite small itself, so most of the sites are walkable from pretty much any play within in the city limits.ExcitedBlutterance wrote:I'm flying in late Thursday night and can rent a car if I need one. Thanks, it actually does make me feel a tad better! Still, even with an acceptance I'm not sure if I could justify spending sticker and the high COL, but I would love to have BC as an option.GobiasIndustries wrote:Good luck! Re: BC Law 2010
I just logged into the student portal and saw the checklist of documents for financial aid. It says they received my Need Access and FAFSA, yet it says "Law Validation Form", Tax Return, and W-2 Form under required documents. I called the office of financial aid a month ago to find out exactly what to submit, and they just said Need Access and FAFSA. Does this mean that I won't get any financial aid package until well after I send these things in? Or are these things sent after the financial aid package is received? Anyone know?
Edit: Just called the office. The Law Validation Form, Tax Returns, and W-2 only need to be submitted after you get your financial aid package and actually want to accept it.

I don't think you need to send those in just yet. I'm pretty sure they're only listed because BC will want to see your tax forms if you decide to go so they can verify the numbers you put on your need access form.dakatz wrote:I just logged into the student portal and saw the checklist of documents for financial aid.
