If I go, I will be taking the bus. Megabus from NYC sometimes runs for as cheap as $1 for a one-way trip. Can't beat that. All depends on when BC informs me of scholarship aid. Without that, I'm just gonna go to the BU ASD, since they informed me of scholarship a long time ago.

I withdrew from BC today. Hope that frees up a spot and a bit of money for someone.

Decision Rendered!!!!!

There isn't any way to check, huh? You just have to wait.

This is the most nerve-wracking one so far. Everywhere else I knew right away.

I'm in PA and thinking about maybe taking the train there for the 26th since it's a 5 1/2 hour drive. Does anyone know if there's a train station near the law school?

South Station is the main train station in Boston and is approximately an hour or so away from campus by the T. North Station would be the other station, but I believe that would be even farther away.

South Station then hop on the Red line (inbound toward Alewife) and at park street switch to the Green line B train towards Boston College...BC is the last stop and you can catch the law school shuttle there...

or you can take a cab from South Station for like $30

Congrats!! What day did you go DR? I'm getting frustrated that mine hasn't come yet (3/12). Also, did it go to your permanent or current address? I've heard different things.

DR 3/12... permanent/current address are the same... my parents' house in Boston (I'm in Asia). So it didn't have to travel far... you should receive yours soon enough!

North Station & South Station are actually really close. I doubt the OP can get a train into North Station, coming from the South, but if they can it's more convenient because North Station is on the green line. You can also take the B, C, or D lines to BC.

I might add that my grandfather's response to my great news from BC today was, "So, you blew your chance to be a Triple Eagle." I graduated from BC High in '04, and spent a year at BC before transferring to Georgetown. Loved Georgetown and DC, but grandpa's right... Triple Eagle would have been pretty sweet! :D

Has anyone heard about merit aid? I've emailed the admissions office twice asking when they'll send info and they haven't even written back to let me know they received my email. Which email should we be using to contact them? Perhaps I'm using the wrong address (although I doubt it because they sent that dean's letter on the same address).

I've emailed them too asking about merit aid and never got a response saying they got my email. I finally called and they said they had received it and were sending out offers over the next few weeks. Totally not helpful!

Theres no Amtrak train coming up from the direction of PA that goes to North Station. It would only be to South Station. However, I recommend getting off at Back Bay, which leaves you much closer to the Green Line of the T. You just walk a block down to Copley Station, hop onto the B line, and it takes you all the way down to BC.

Yeah so much for their "oh merit aid is going out this week" BS that they told us last week. Its getting a bit late here, and a lot of us would really like to pick a school already.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
