I'm going to call on Monday

on the WL, re-took June, shat the bed on games but still gained 5 pts over my previous exam (162 vs 157)
3.78, hispanic top 30 undergrad.

How are my chances?

Just checking in to say that I was admitted off the wait list via phone call this past week; I had given up on the cycle and was planning to retake/reapply, so my family and I have been fairly jubilant recently.

For those still waiting, they wanted an answer by July 6, so you might see some more movement after that, when those recently offered a spot off the wait list will have to make up their mind.

I called just a minute ago and spoke with an admissions counselor; she told me that they have not extended any offers to anyone on the WL yet. Why would she lie? :(

Maybe she's misinformed or someone else is lying :)

Do you think she is trying to cover up for the fact that offers HAVE been extended? If, so why would she?
