my letter went to my permanent addressjbarl1 wrote:Decision rendered as of 1/12...I just got my rejection from BU so I am expecting a rejection here as well. They were both kind of a reach for me anyway; I'm a high GPA, semi-low LSAT splitter
I hope my letter arrives at my permanent address before I return to school next Sunday.

Yeah I just noticed it says at the top of the status checker that it will go to my permanent address. It's a big envelope if it's an acceptance right? And regular if it's not?

I got my rejection letter on Jan 11.
So far I've gotten the boot from UChicago, Notre Dame, UVA, UTexas, and Boston College. 11 more to go...yikes

Where else did you apply? What are your numbers, if you don't mind...
Good luck elsewhere.

Went DR today. Better call home and tell my parents to watch for a letter, and hopefully a packet.

Have hope! BC puts more emphasis on GPA and less on LSAT than does BU.jbarl1 wrote:Decision rendered as of 1/12...I just got my rejection from BU so I am expecting a rejection here as well. They were both kind of a reach for me anyway; I'm a high GPA, semi-low LSAT splitter

For EA applicants who were held and planning on submitting LOCI's, are you submitting via snail mail?

DR today. LSAT>>75th, GPA just under median. Grad degree, good extracurriculars.. Already in at BU Law, so not sweating it, but gosh I'd love to have the two schools to choose from! (I love the blatant BC=BU mentality)...
Do acceptances/rejections arrive via snail mail only? Any correspondence via email from BC?
Good luck to us!

Yeah you really can't go wrong with either school but its great to have some choices (very difficult ones at that). Good luck!Hopefullawstudent wrote:DR today. LSAT>>75th, GPA just under median. Sounds like our stats and softs (i.e. grad school) are nearly identical. I'm in at BU but am still awaiting a decision at BC. Good luck with the BC decision; I hope you get in.Hopefullawstudent wrote:DR today. LSAT>>75th, GPA just under median. Grad degree, good extracurriculars.. Re: BC Law 2010
Thanks guys. I'm hoping for the best for you too. What perplexes me is why they waited so long to render the decision. I wonder what made them think: Okay, let's just make it final... (then again, it could be a waitlist.. )
Either way, if it's an acceptance, should I see a packet come in the mail? Or is it like WUSTL where I can expect an email only?

Re: BC Law 2010
BC's LSAT medians range is 162-165; BU's is 163-166. BC's GPA range is tighter than BU's but not substantively different (3.49-3.77 for BC; 3.48-3.82 for BU). The difference is small but enough to possibly matter.tram988 wrote:Really?? I thought BC placed more emphasis on the LSATjbarl1 wrote:BenJ wrote:Have hope!
