I was IR 3/26 and went IR again 5/4. Does going into review twice mean anything?

There's more than one, and one of those women is a total bitch.

Think we'll see any movement before the weekend? Still my #1 choice I just want the wait to be over.

Not trying to jinx us or anything, but would they do two reject batches in one week?

Dunno. What are the stats of those who went DF today?

My GPA is around their 75th, LSAT is very safely above 75th. Rothman invite from months ago.

My GPA and LSAT are Relatively low but I have strong softs and top 10 undergrad that notoriously does not grade inflate...I guess we'll see if we get an email tomorrow right? Haven't all accepts gotten some kind of email the next day?

Sounds like an accept batch; USC likes top undergrads to add to their class profile.

What time did accepted people get the email the next day? I sure hope 5/6 was an acceptance batch.

was the May 1st deposit deadline a "postmarked by" date or all deposits had to be in the office by then?

just curious to see if maybe they have been busy sorting through the deposits all week.

I think it was two days after. And agreed.

Just got my WL letter. They said that only those applicants whose written response are received by May 11 will be placed on the waitlist. Now I don't know if they mean only those applicants from my batch who received the WL letter or if they mean applicants who received the WL letter in general. If it's the latter, looks like it's either going to be a straight-up accept or straight up ding for those who are still waiting to hear back.

Each batch of WL that went out had a different date that their acceptance of their spot had to be received. A clerical error had me sent two different waitlist packets a month a part and each of them had a different date for the response to be received.

Though when I talked to the woman in admissions she made a comment about how she was changing my status to the original WL packet date because the earlier decision was better (or something to that effect?). I dunno... maybe USC prioritizes people who got their apps in super early? But that's purely speculation...

Did your letter have the same verbiage, though, i.e., "only applicants whose responses are received by May 11 will actually be placed on the waitlist"? Mine had that language, in addition to the part where they say I need to complete and return the form by May 11.

yea they both did. They were literally carbon copies of each other but with different dates. It was a very confusing time in my life...
