Re: USC 2010!
so 4/27 has some splitters, URM's, and reverse splitters.
USC has never sent out a mixed batch yet. Waitlist would have shown on the status checker so its either all acceptances or rejections.
honestly i don't think it looks too good for us... but gl guys.

Are any of the people that are getting accepted recently getting any money? Do you think anyone this late has a chance at money? Thanks.

Re: USC 2010!
I was part of the 4/26 DF group. Did not get a scholarship in my admissions packet. I did get an email asking me to fill out some forms to be considered for scholarships and financial aid though. At this point, I don't know how much money is even going to be available. I will be withdrawing shortly.sternc wrote:Are any of the people that are getting accepted recently getting any money? i agree... but most rejection batches had obvious rejections on it. such as those below both medians and not an URM.jstn1104 wrote:Methinks it's a no

Re: USC 2010!
I think the sub-3 GPA's are pretty damning, considering how USC seems to be averse to anything below 3.5. Could be wrong, but my guess is unless this is a mixed batch, it's probably "no"'s.

someone once emailed USC and USC stated that it was all in batches. its in this thread somewhere.savesthedayajb wrote:Or mixed, for those optimistic applicants!finalaspects wrote:hmm yea you're the first one with both numbers below medians... i guess its a rejection batchchrisokc wrote:I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm DF 4/27 - 165; 3.3.
but we know that USC has to accept people below medians one way or another and they can't all be URM's. it seems like with the numbers listed it would keep the medians stable. high GPA's and those with low GPA has over 167 LSAT.

Re: USC 2010!
Pretty sure as I said earlier that this is a rejection batch. The main reason I think this is quite honestly they just had an acceptance batch yesterday... It would just strike me as being very odd to have two acceptance batches two days in a row this late in the cycle. I am hoping to be wrong but I would be betting my money on this being rejections.finalaspects wrote:DF 4/27 list

hmm damn i think you're right. the last time i remember a back to back decision dates were one was all acceptances and the other were all rejections....WhatToDo21 wrote: Pretty sure as I said earlier that this is a rejection batch. but because its late in the cycle they would need to get out all decisions as soon as possible. their goal was to let everyone know by the end of this month.

Like I said I hope I am wrong, but quite frankly unless they had a change in policy overnight then these are likely rejections. Not trying to be a wet blanket, I guess I am just telling myself it is a rejection coming so I don't get false hope

Re: USC 2010!
you're telling me. i've passed my 6 month mark a few weeks back. which means i would have waited half a year, with 3 different in-review dates only to get rejected in the end.savesthedayajb wrote:This is such a fucked up process.mdgold wrote:i called and told the lady i need to withdraw another deposit and asked for the decision and she told me no and that other people are in the same situation, so i guess well have to wait it out unless someone can speak to someone else

Yeah I was complete since late Nov. are you DF as well? and you're an URM right?JolieSaraLee wrote: Yeah I was complete since late Nov. To get rejected now would suck What are your other options?
i don't really have much options. i only applied to top 40 schools which were all a reach for me. i didn't plan to go to law school unless it was a top40 so yea....

Re: USC 2010!
To anyone who is thinking of calling it's useless. I called and lady said we have to wait for snail mail. From what ppl are saying it appears you get an email if your in 1-2 days after DF. if Not......
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
