My letter took forever to get to me though for some reason so I'd guess the norm is a few days later. The actual packet came almost 2 weeks after acceptance. I am in NYC. Hope that helps!
Thanks much :)

I e-mailed them an updated resume, complete with my part-time job this final semester, as well as my newly awarded Phi Beta Kappa induction. They even responded and said they would add it to my file. I know it must be in there somewhere......

Complete 2/9, DF 2/16. Fingers are crossed that this was an auto admit and not an auto-ding! 167/3.7

well since you're a reverse splitter, im betting they're saving your app in case they need it to higher their GPA stats. they're probably doing that to me with my LSAT though.

+1. Although I haven't been waiting nearly as long as you have, seeing some other applicants be ignored pretty much tells me I'm headed down the same road. Not really expecting to hear back until April/May.

..although, if they do end up accepting me (lol) I might be too happy to care

How does it work if I've already paid my deposit somewhere else? Could I still go if I got accepted in April/May (cuz I, much like msch0i, would probably forgive them if they gave me an accpetance)?

you lose your deposit but yes you can withdraw at any time. even at the last second because you got off a waitlist somewhere.

DF 2/17 also, the suspense is killing me. What's weird is I was in review for all of one day. Complete since 12/10, no action until IR 2/16, then DF within 24 hours. It's like my app was covered in something sticky and they threw it out the second they picked it up.

Median GPA, 75th percentile LSAT, & roth invite, if that helps anyone. I'm also in Cali so hopefully the decision will get to me SOON. Goodluck to everyone waiting on decisions!

Application received 1/8, Complete email 1/28, DF 2/11. Sorry, I don't check my status that often so I'm not entirely sure on the movement, but that's the general story. What's weird is I haven't gotten anything in the mail (and thus I've kind of been starting to freak, even though I've seen the LSN for that day!), but last night I got my student ID number for SC via email. I know there is an (rather) important, implicit assumption, but I think I'm in. :D

DF 02/15, In by snail mail today, rejection sized envelope... it took 5 days for the letter to travel an hour and a half haha.

Went complete 01/20, gpa at the 75th percentile, lsat higher than 75th.

Pretty stoked :)

DF 2/17. IN by snail mail today, also the single letter in a regular envelope.

Even though I read SDWaterBaby's post before checking my mail, seeing the rejection-sized envelope still made my heart skip quite a few beats. So thank you, USC, for delivering me several panicked moments as my mind raced to understand what went shockingly wrong with my application.

I definitely freaked out when I saw the size of the envelope, causing me to tear it in half right there at the mailboxes, I saw the word "Congratulations" and proceeded to jump up and down...I think my neighbors are definitely freaked out. They already judge me for walking over to the mailboxes 4 times a day

+1000
After seeing a big package from what I thought was one of the last T5 I have to hear from I was like "NO WAY, OH MY GOSH, etc" at my mailbox and then upon seeing that it was from Thomas M Cooley (and just happened to have similar colors) yelled "F***!" The lady walking her dog nearby started giggling. I know I look like a crazy person every day at the mailboxes.

I also got this email- I'm international so I figured there would be a delay in the mail, but it was a funny way to find out.

Congrats! Can you tell when it was sent out? I'm trying to figure out how long it will take to get to me, because I will be compulsively checking my mailbox until then.

I went IR 2/16, which I found very weird and probably isn't typical.

Got the acceptance yesterday, small envelope which I almost threw out.

Complete 1/10, IR 2/1, Decision 2/16.
160, 3.3, URM

seriously though, the envelope?

Is it the consensus on here that same-day "Decision Finalized" necessarily means the same decision (acceptance/rejection)? It also seems people believe that the same IR date means the same decision, and I don't see how these two things can match up.

Letter is dated February 18 and enveloped also postmarked on February 18. Arrived ~2600 miles away on February 20.

Sometime between going complete on 2/9 and finalized on 2/16, but I'm not sure exactly.

Same IR dates doesn't really mean anything. Although there seems to be some patterns/groups such as my IR date being mostly splitters. It does not mean the same decision though.

and so far same-day DR has been all same decisions but technically they can both reject and accept at the same time. But i would say chances are same-day DR's are same decisions.
