I applied yesterday, but no idea when they're sending off the first round of acceptances. Good luck!

Applied 9/23. I'm a USC alum that loves my alma mater, but I'm shooting for top 6.

Applying soon. Southern California lifestyle is :D.

I'm not sure what the chances are, but I'd suggest checking the LSN graphs. They're uber helpful.

I'm complete at USC. Like protokurios, however, I'm aiming a little higher...

You are right about on the border - 3.4 seems about the GPA cutoff, your LSAT might need another point or two due to the lower GPA, but I wouldn't say you are out of the running at all, but def not a shoe-in either.

I'm hoping for USC as my #1 choice. Got a received email about a week ago but no word of being complete.

How long did it take for everyone to go complete?

I'm still not complete either, although checking LSN made me realize first rounds of acceptances last year didn't go out until mid december...so we've got at least a month...

I loved most things about the program but they seem to have a pretty hard cutoff at 166, with some 165s getting WL. 164s were pretty much denied with a few WLs. Eh, I'd rather save my $87.

Aren't you retaking? If you are, and you score higher, there's a good chance you'll be accepted soon after your new score comes. When a new LSAT score turns a former 'Reach' into a 'Super Safety,' its not uncommon for schools to react with an immediate acceptance and merit aid. They figure they have one last chance to woo you away from the sexier rivals. Happened to co-worker last cycle. Obviously, I have no idea how representative of retakers her experience was.

I just found out today I went complete on 9/29 after I sent them an email asking if I was complete (I had not heard from them since they received my initial application)...the admissions office CCed Amy Stevens...I never received that email unless it went into my spam folder :/ ...

Thanks for making me look like a jack ass USC admissions office!

Hmm.... It isn't official, but UCLA gives a decent boost to people coming out of good undergrads. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the case at USC. They obviously let in a few people with scores below 165 and 3.8+Ivy isn't exactly a drag.

They don't start sending out acceptances until December the 15th.

Sent my app yesterday. USC is pretty much tied with UCLA for me as top choice, and I'd be happy with either. Now I'm just anxiously awaiting any sort of communication from either one.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
