I take back what I posted earlier... I have a feeling 5/3 is a ding batch. I hope I don't sound like a douche, but my gut feeling is based on the review date patterns of the folks in the 5/3 batch (assuming the reported dates are accurate).

Weren't people that were accepted recently receive an email to access the admitted student website before they even got an acceptance letter?

DF 5/3..Yeah, that seems to be what happened to the ones that were admitted last week

Did they get that same day as DF?

I think they got it the next morning

I was DF 5/3 today as well. I went IR on 4/28. This is my last one and I had already assumed that it would be a ding if they were taking this long anyway. Good luck to everyone!

DF 5/3 after being IR 4/27...166 and 3.5, by my numbers a ding, waitlist at best. I hope USC just tossed all the last applications in the air, had all the staff members pick one up and then those were the ones that got in. Good luck to all the 5/3'ers. I'm 50 miles from USC so my mail will come soon, be sure to post the results.

Perhaps - this has been a strange cycle to say the least.

Its also ridiculous that first seat deposits for almost all schools have passed and USC hasn't even sent a "don't worry, we're planning to get back to you by _____" email. Their loss, I suppose.

Not yet. Have you guys gotten any other correspondence (email)? I think this silence from USC isn't the best sign.

Ugh, I couldn't keep away from this thread. I haven't heard anything and given our combined numbers, I have no reason to think that this is acceptance batch. Oh, well.. not the best way to end things, but I'm glad I can move on

I am deposited at WUSTL and that is the only option I have left at this time, after withdrawing from the other schools that admitted me. But I think I am going to ride out the USC waitlist...and I'm also still waiting to hear from Cornell and UCLA. Miracles do happen sometimes.

Yeah, W&L will forever remain a mystery to me...

My status checker just changed to "Waitlist" this afternoon (instead of "In Review").
