Congrats!efelleman wrote:Accepted.
Just got my letter (was mailed yesterday, I live in LA).
Kind of fun to be the only acceptance on LSN, probably for about five minutes.

Re: USC 2010!
DR yesterday. I got the Rothman invite so I assume it's an admit, but no letter yet.

Re: USC 2010!
Turns out I did receive the invite... What is up with my mail!?!?! The letter (which arrived in an open envelope) is dated December 4th. It took 2 1/2 weeks to cross the continent? Seriously? ugh.pearl_earrings wrote:I hope you're right!managamy wrote:+1. I also went under review today... fwiw: I didn't receive the Rothman invite.
That being said, I'm excited! Hoping for a pre-Christmas acceptance...

Did anybody's status switch to DR today?
I've been under review since 12/15 and it hasn't changed yet. I hope at least a few more people (including me ) get their acceptances before xmas. It would be an awesome gift.

Same here... I've deemed it time to put all this wondering aside until after the New Year when their offices re-open.jmhendri wrote:The server is back online. Status unchanged.

Haha. Same numbers, same sentiments. At this point, I am just going nuts. I'm happy getting into BU and Minny, but I'd love me some USC. Still complete: 11/10.SilverE2 wrote:10/9 Complete and nothing.

Does anyone know if they email you before they send out the materials, or, if they just mail it out and you get it when you get it?

Materials? Decision notification comes only by postal mail, if that's the question that you're asking.Hopefullawstudent wrote:Haha. Same numbers, same sentiments. At this point, I am just going nuts. they DID say 10-12 weeks in the confirmation e-mail, right? Given the holidays, I'd give them til mid-January before panicking Enjoy the time off!Hopefullawstudent wrote:Haha. And I think for anything regarding your actual application, they send you an e-mail (application in review, decision rendered, etc) but for the Rothman Scholarship packet, people have said they just received it in the mail (I think I remember reading that some didn't even go under review yet). Edit: didn't even go COMPLETE before receiving the packet

Re: USC 2010!
USC has an online status check on which you can find the in review / decision finalized notifications. You should receive an email with information on how to access it.msch0i wrote:they DID say 10-12 weeks in the confirmation e-mail, right? Re: USC 2010!
I don't know if any of you will find this amusing, but I was looking at USC's graph for this cycle on LSN to see what the admits thus far are looking like, and to my surprise I saw several green triangles in MY LSAT range!! I got so excited that I rushed to my status checker and let myself fill with hope a little. I then got suspicious. I only have a 162... where are all the 169-172s I keep hearing about? Upon second viewing it turns out I was looking at the University of South Dakota.
Sigh.
Sigh.

Re: USC 2010!
anyone else curious to see what kinds of scholarship offers the Rothman invitees will get? looks like last year pretty much every early admit got really good $$
the idea of LA/ SoCal is so appealing at this point, I might do USC with good $$ even if I get into higher ranked schools
