I wouldn't take it personally you should have no problem getting into northwestern, and without checking LSN probably several T10's.
On that note, I'm in with $ at UIUC - 172 / 2.7, not claiming any URM status.

Maybe it has to do with the Why Illinois? essay. Over two-thirds wrote it.

Nope. Had the ED form in an envelope and everything. But decided I want to let this play out.

Ha, yea. My Why Illinois? was pretty crappy. "Cause I'm an alumnus, and I want to pratice in Chicago."

In ED at UVA!

They got back to me a day after my app went complete. Incredible.

Best of luck everybody.

Exciting day. Rejected @ Illinois via email. In at WUSTL via email. Chicago starting making ED calls today and will do a few more next week and I have yet to hear anything.

I've got a decision at Cornell, but won't be able to find out what it is until Monday.

How have other splitters fared there, no results on LSN.

I think deferred, mostly. I still haven't had a status change there yet (EAC 11/5). Calling on Monday to see what's up.

Rejected at Cornell.

Under review at Duke, probably waitlist that I'll never get off of at best.

I haven't gotten waitlisted at duke, I just expect to. Looking at LSN I might just get straight up rejected too.

Best I got is Minnesota so far. W/L at Virginia, but I'll never get off it.

Yea I'll have two years W/E by August. Northwestern is really the only hope for someone under 3.0.

Unless they have a very large surge in qualified applicants I think I've got a shot.

Did you apply to UIUC, IUB, and Iowa?

If I don't get T14, I'll try to end up at UIUC since I want Chicago legal market. But I'm thinking I may shit the cycle out and try again if I don't get half tuition there.

Ah west coast, how you elude me. Are you in danger of not getting into UCH or UCD? I think they're both pretty good for their markets.

Well if you are staying west coast Davis and Hastings are better. Yes those three are LSAT heavy. IUB would almost without a doubt take you. But its only good for the midwest (and even there its reputation is questionable).

Also whats up with west coast schools being slow. Davis won't be sending out any acceptance for a long ass time.

I applied to both, but probably won't go because of tuition costs for out of state.
