I wouldn't considering Yale is one of the only schools that requests paper applications from LSAC.Veritas2010 wrote:VoidSix wrote:I had my recommender put it in a university envelope and sign over the seal. Put it in a manilla envelope with my LOCI (mentioned that I was enclosing the LOR as part of my LOCI) put my LSAC number and signature on the LOCI, send it all in.of Benito Cereno wrote:how did you send the LORVoidSix wrote:Haha, I just gave in and sent an extra LOR / LOCI to YLS. Question: Can one email an addendum or no?

i was planning on sending one this week, and having it cross paths with a rejection would just be awful.VoidSix wrote:Haha, I just gave in and sent an extra LOR / LOCI to YLS. It'd be hilarious if I got a rejection in the mail the same day.

Just got the rejection letter. Dated 1/27. I also live a few hours from New Haven. Stats and dates in LSN (in profile).
Disappointed but trying to remain hopeful about other pending apps...
I hope their rejecting me so quickly has more to do with my submit/complete dates than it does with my candidacy (I thought all non-auto-ding URMs waited longer for a rejection).

Hmm... I checked again on their website but it doesn't say how to send in extra stuff, nor is there anything specific on their blog.
I'm wondering if it's too much to now mail the addendum via regular mail although I sent it in a few days ago via email... I don't want to incur the wrath of the YLS deities! what to do!

I just got the ding letter too. My first one. I'm in San Francisco. Dated 1/27. Sent app in mid-November.
Of course the letter arrives incredibly fast, while the letter with "Decision" from Cornell (which I'm hoping is good news) is nowhere.

I can't tell if I'm glad to be off campus today or terrified that I have no way to check my mail until tomorrow... I'm fully expecting that yale and stanford are dingalings awaiting my return.

Re: Yale 2010
All the rejections reported so far on LSN had an LSAT below 170, FWIW. Although with your numbers and URM status you definitely should have been in contention for Yale.Core wrote:Just got the rejection letter. Dated 1/27. I also live a few hours from New Haven. Stats and dates in LSN (in profile).

Edit: And redhead77 has an LSAT of 171, so that blows the idea that they decided to cut out all but the most impressive sub-170s.

I have a 176 and I got dinged. Not that I expected to get in, of course. Just saying that I don't think there's a distinct numbers pattern going on.BenJ wrote:All the rejections reported so far on LSN had an LSAT below 170, FWIW. Both of my numbers are below yours. Hopefully my story will help somewhat, but doubtful that much. I am prepared for my letter in the coming months.BaiAilian2013 wrote:Dinged via snail mail. Yale splitter.

Do they ever respond to emails?
