Email today from admissions: Basically if someone was complete in October/November, and hasn't gotten an email, then no scholarship is forthcoming. However, she did say that my numbers should have merited a scholarship and is checking with admissions to see what happened.....We will see.

+1, same response minus the 'should have merited a scholarship' part....I guess I will hope for more scholarship offers from others and try to bargain if I decide I really want to go to Miami

Do you guys know how many people get full rides? Also, lets say they give out 20, is that 20 to people that accept or 20 total (including all the people who wouldn't accept it). Do they give out any scholarship between the 2/3 and the full ride?

You want to be at either FSU or UF. That way you can free up that juicy, beautiful 23k/yr scholly for me.

3.05, 164.

I have been accepted w/ better offers, I am withdrawing my application from Miami. Good luck all.

FWIW, Miami is currently 36 degrees.

Got my scholarship letter; 23k a year with the 3.2 gpa stipulation

163 lsat
3.63 culm gpa
3.87 gpa

Separate, got an email after I was accepted letting me know a scholarship letter was sent, then got the award letter a few days after the email.

Oh, good. Thanks for letting me know. I love the idea of attending Miami and can't wait to visit, but I thought my numbers might get me a little love.

In my acceptance packet there was a postcard saying that they received my tuition deposit. Obviously, this can't be the case since I was only just informed of my acceptance. Did anyone else get one of these? It was in the back of the brochure where the invite to Law Day was.

I believe you are supposed to address it and mail that back with your first seat deposit, and they will send it back to you to acknowledge receipt of your deposit.
