Went straight from "File Complete" to "Decision" today and received the acceptance phone call around 4pm. Packet will arrive via snail mail. How and when do we find out about scholarship info?

With a 167/3.5 do I stand a chance at $$$?

Status Update as of 1/25:

"Thank you for your interest in and application to Florida State University College of Law. This year’s application pool is highly competitive. At this time, your application has received an initial review and it is being placed in our HOLD category for further review throughout the cycle. Applications the admissions committee wants to continue to consider in the future are placed in the HOLD category. Please note that our HOLD category is not our waitlist. Since our application deadline is April 1, 2010, your file may be reviewed before or after this deadline for a final decision regarding your application to the law school."

I was mailed a scholarship application form asking me to fill out some information (really, really simple form) to be considered for merit aid. You should get one soon I'd think, considering the application said that Feb 1st was the deadline for priority consideration.

I applied on the 12th, but have yet to be contacted by FSU. Should I have already received an email informing me how to check my application status?

I received a status checker the day after I applied (1/11), so I would check your junk mail folder and then contact them if that fails you.

I'm in state and got some aid money, it's going to be hard to pass up. Anyone going to the admitted scholars day or whatever on Feb. 24th?

houli13 has me worried. I thought I had a pretty solid chance of getting in with a 3.03 and a 162. What were your scores?

i got the same status checker as houli with a 167, 2.7 and 7 years WE.

At this point in the game, with a 3.7GPA and a 160, do y'all think I am out of the running? I am applying out of state. Hopefully, my LoR and Personal Statement will help out.

My status checker has said "Application Complete" since the 13th of January. Will the status check change to "decision" without first changing to "review"?

No problem. I am not instate, and I submitted on 1/11 and went complete on 1/13.

In this morning via phone call. The woman was very friendly and invited me to some reception in February.

Status changed to DM yesterday and still reads the same. In-state (I think) and I went DM only a couple days after completion.
