Dinged today via email directing me to check status checker?

So I had to dig out the ol' NU ID just to get a .pdf version of my rejection letter? :roll:

Why wouldn't a plain old email just suffice?

Way to reject me in the most convoluted way possible.

12 weeks since I went complete and I haven't heard anything... should I call? Is this normal?

Yea, and that certainly could be it; I have no post-graduate work experience. Although I do have 4+ years military that I thought would work for my W/E requirement.

I checked my status today, and it said I went complete 3/4. I'd initially gone complete 2/8. Weird. NW's definitely my top choice, and they say you need to wait 8 weeks from when you go complete, which blows.

Just got my acceptance via email!!! I am so excited, I literally cannot stop smiling! Going to visit next weekend, cannot wait to check out the campus.

That's what I hope. Do I have to fill anything else out for merit aid? I've only submitted my part of the FAFSA...

Edit: Looks like I need to do the Need Access. I guess I'll do that tonight...

That's what I hope. Do I have to fill anything else out for merit aid? I've only submitted my part of the FAFSA...
You have to do the Need Access Application and complete an application that is on the admitted student's site (including a couple of essays)

No Northwestern doesn't consider parents in their need aid. Though to be fair I suspect they don't even give need aid, at least not really.

If you are filling out need access for multiple schools, one of which who does want parental info, you will need to fill it out for your parents.
