Got my waitlist letter via status checker update yesterday. Are we supposed to get an email too because I have no email from them yet.

Also any info on whether NU allows you to defer if you get in off the waitlist? The waitlist letter doesnt seem to mention it.

LOCI soon, probably. That said, NU would need to give me scholly $$ to sway me away from Duke.
not sure if this helps with your decision but they're out. Found out yesterday. no scholly $$, no grant $$ left. sadness
Thanks, I'm probably just going to withdraw then.
You really had no shot without work experience.
That's probably true. That said, if I wanted NU Law bad enough, I think I could have gotten it through a LOCI with an unconditional commitment to attend. Of course, that wasn't a commitment I was willing to make because even had they matched my Duke scholly, I don't know if going to school with a bunch of students who have a natural advantage at OCI is a good thing.

I still haven't withdrawn, I might ride it out for a bit.

This entire cycle you've been talking about the LOCI that's basically an ED. It didn't help you, because I don't think schools take it seriously.

Any other LLM 2010-211 students? Do you know when we can anticipate getting our acceptance package?

So NU said that decisions for people who haven't heard back yet should come out this week. I hope it's today because I need to pay 125$ for my application to student housing at my second choice...

Forgot to update this thread. I also got waitlist pdf via status checker on Friday. that makes 1 acceptance, 5 waitlists, several still pending.

Nope - not even a confirmation for my LOCI! Too darn quiet.

Yeah, it's 167/3.6 with significant work experience (management). So it's not likely. Which is part of the reason I want to get it over with. It's going to hurt, because they're my #1, but I'd like to move on with my life!

Hi all, also waitlisted. Wondering if others on the waitlist filled out the Need Access application - I never did because I knew I wouldn't get any aid other than loans, and I thought FAFSA would be sufficient for that. Need Access is just for grants and scholarships, right? Just trying to make sure I'd be able to get my loan money if admitted...

Good luck to other TLS WL'ers.

Just in case anyone is still waiting on an initial decision (like me), I called today and they said that they should have all remaining initial decisions out this week.
