Congrats all. Glad to see that Northwestern is finally coming out of hibernation.

Now if they'd only put me out of my misery (Complete 11/6, no news after that).

In. 171, 3.5 Non-URM, 2+ yrs WE. No interview.

Congrats all, but am I the only one who was very put off by how impersonal the whole thing was?
Dear jtang11,

The Admissions Committee has completed its review of your application for Admission. To view your decision, please log-in to our Status Check webpage (https://www.law.northwestern.edu/form/a ... _entry.cfm).

To login you will be required to enter an Applicant ID number. If you do not have this number, you may opt to have it e-mailed to you from the Status Check page.

Please note that your decision letter will not be mailed.

Regards,
The Admissions Committee
Compared to other schools that have sent me packages or called to tell me, I initially assumed I'd been rejected when I got that email. It just didn't make me feel like I was very wanted at NU.

Alright, so after seeing more of yesterday's acceptances roll in, it seems that this was pretty much an auto-admit batch. There were no splitters really, except 2 people who are right AT the 25th for GPA.

So fellow splitters, this tells me that either they just haven't decided on us yet, or we're getting WLd. :|

They seem to be working through autoadmits and autodings first. I would bet they just haven't gotten there yet.

11/2 complete and I am expecting to hear back this week. Are rejections done by email?

Everything is done by email - or rather, by an email which then refers you to the status checker.

<3 me too. I was driving home Friday when I saw the twitter update (I get them on my phone and it blinks at me). I spent the rest of the drive home literally PRAYING that I would get an email, but alas, it never came.

Is there, or should there be, some kind of TLS app? We need one.

I thought about this the other day and went looking for a forum app. There seems to be some out there for phpBB, but they require additional code installed on the server.

D'oh. There goes another weekend into side projects that will do nothing for me.

I'll start work on Friday night. Maybe I should start a thread for soliciting ideas.
