What do you all think would be the effect of a less-than-perfect alumni interview on otherwise auto-admit numbers? I wouldn't say that my interview was terrible by any stretch of the imagination, but it wasn't fabulous, either...
I doubt that a less-than-perfect interview would have a negative effect. As I understand it, the primary purpose of the interview is to make sure that you're not a sociopath.

My alumni interview went well. In fact, my interviewer and I have a hobby in common and he's contacted me frequently since the interview. He told me that he's sure I will get in.

Look, not to get everyone's hopes up, but if you told me at the beginning of my cycle that only one T14 would accept me, I would've assumed, without hesitation, that the school was Northwestern. I am pretty sure that there are still acceptances coming (maybe not today, but soon) for applicants with November complete dates.

For those who have received decisions, did your Status Check "complete" date change at least once prior to the decision being made? 11/12 -> 1/25 -> Decision, for example?

Congrats to those who got in today!

Sort of OT, but anyone know when scholarship money starts to go out? Checked LSN, but only a couple people had dates listed.

They start coming out on March 1 if you have your financial aid papers in.

I don't know, maybe now that you've been accepted by the folk establishment..er..Northwestern, you should go all Newport '65; your true fans will get over it eventually.

Do we have to fill out financial aid forms if we want scholarships? There's no way I'm getting any, so I was just going to forgo filling them out.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if need-based and merit were considered separately, but it appears they have sort of a combo system going on.

Yes all scholarships are supposedly need + merit. You'd have to anyway to get federal loans.

First time they've specifically mentioned the program I applied for, and no decision for me. Trying not to let it break my heart. It also may or may not be midnight here and I may or may not be drinking...
