Pizzeria Uno & Due, but the Gino's East two blocks from NU law is just about as good and less packed.

i'm not sure. where it once said complete nov. 15, it now says jan. 13. i was hoping i would be in the applied-before-dec. 1- batch, but it looks like i'm not.

Sorry to everyone on hold. At least it's not a rejection, right? That part's sort of good news.

Can we all see the humor in the whole "the emails come, you open the email, it takes you to another page, you request your login, it comes in an email, you login, you request to see your decision, and THEN you have to open a pdf of the letter" thing? Is there a less efficent was to pass information?

The original plan was to add a verification step where you type in the squiggly letters, then you answer three riddles before logging in.

I wouldn't be so sure that you aren't. My complete date is pre-12/1 and hasn't changed, but I haven't heard either. I'm just wondering if there is a "before December 1" batch that hasn't been reviewed yet.

Another great food place you'll want to go to (also a little out of the way) is Smoke. AMAZING ribs. Another great rib place is Twin Anchors, and that's a little closer too.

Are you talking about Smoque? I've heard good things, although I think I'll continue to stay away from Chicago "barbeque" joints and their abominable midwestern slop.

yeah, maybe i mispelled it. but they have different "styles" there. so if you're not a fan of midwest style, they have other kinds. I pretty much like any style ribs as long as they are falling off the bone. YUM

i'm so getting ribs this weekend.

Still nothing. Complete 11/20. I think NU still has a ways to go before it's done with all its pre-December applicants. Earlier this week, someone called and was told that the admissions office needs about two more weeks to get decisions out to those with pre-December complete dates. I'm just assuming that some of us won't know until the middle or end of next week.

We have to wait another 2 months before getting a accepted/rejected/waitlist decision. It's just a way for them to avoid having to make a decision on us.

Placed on Hold...probably going to withdraw. I really liked NU, but there is no way I am waiting to April when I applied in September. Also, I feel like I already have no idea where the heck I want to go why should I add another school onto that.

You're already accepted to UChicago, I'd say your options are excellent even if there's no NU. Congrats!

Held. It's gonna be a long cycle.

I had never realized they "held" people until a few days ago when I was going over LSN--there are ten early applications I found that get held till late April, then all but one of them get waitlisted (two of the WLs end up getting in). Only 2 of the 9 WLs could have been YP, the others just seem to be WLs so I'm not sure why they'd wait three months to call them that.
