Congratulations! This does make me somewhat question the email so many of us got today stating that all of the scholarship/grant money had been allocated. Maybe they sent our emails right after yours.
It was bright and early in the morning, but i wouldn't take their email regarding allocation too literally. It may just mean that they have chosen the initial offers, and sent that email to the rest.
Best of luck to those who are waiting!

So wait, is being held = waitlist? I have no WE, this is kind of a small miracle.

Hold is kind of a pre-waitlist. They're going to reevaluate all the holds in April, at which time we could be rejected, waitlisted, or accepted.

Do we have any idea when in April? Will it be before the seat deposit deadline?
No, but this has more info: --LinkRemoved--

Day At Northwestern Law
I don't think they're using that term this year though, they keep just calling it an ASW.

Same day I applied, 2/2. I hadn't heard from them at all (not even a received e-mail) until I requested a status checker e-mail on Monday.

Not sure, they didn't email me about it. I submitted pretty close to the deadline.

Does the fact that NU just emailed me a status checker ID three weeks after I submitted my app mean anything? Like perhaps they are getting ready to render a decision and wanted to make sure I could access the status checker?
Kinda frustrating...I got the status checker email and for a moment I thought it was a decision! Oh well...I know it's only been three weeks...

I'm accepting my spot, but also requesting a one year deferral (my wife is preggo!) In speaking to the admissions office the deferral should be no prob...it's my understanding that this withdraws me from this year's class and frees up a spot. So, see you in a year and a half! Or next year at the ASW!

Complete since 1/11 and no word. If I don't hear back soon, I won't even be able to consider NW before I have to decide on a school.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
