Yeah, except CoutureChiq proved that somewhat wrong. I bet TLS / LSN is only about 10-20% of the applicant pool (correct me if I'm wrong). So it's not outlandish to imagine 10 or so people have been accepted yet. Although maybe they just meant they weren't going to do huge wave acceptances until December.

on a side note, ive been actually really curious about this but what percent of the applicant pool is actually on tls/lsn? (10-20% sounds kinda low? but i honestly have no idea)

Pretty simple. Take the # of plots on last year's LSN graph for Berk and compare it to the number of reported applications.

I tried this calculation (didn't count on the graph, I used the profiles)...counted about 792 applicants reporting info on LSN for 08-09 of 7,960 applicants total. Roughly 12 percent on LSN if all that is accurate.

Math arguments are exactly what this thread needs.

You can tell that we're Law School applicants; we need calculators for elementary math.

Math arguments are exactly what this thread needs.

That hardly qualifies as an "argument." There is a clear right answer.

Also - more arguments about what constitutes an argument.

You can especially tell that we're Law School applicants when a one-step division qualifies as an argument.

Probably because of the underlying Stanford-Cal animosity. We're natural-born enemies.

I keep forgetting that there actually are applicants out there who don't use TLS. :P

Yeah that's what I was going for but actually think I messed it up. I think "you shut your mouth when you're talking to me" is the actual quote, but I decided my screw-up was apropos in this case.

Clearly. Though I have to admit that Stanford had a quite an impressive performance on Saturday and Gerhart is nothing short of unstoppable.

Quick question- I am definitely an unlikely candidate to get in at Berk, but I do have an outside shot and am anxiously waiting for a decision. Let's say they send out a wave this week- will they be accompanied by rejections as well? I would like to get my result so I can move on and focus on some other apps... thoughts?

there is no way of knowing this until someone actually gets rejected.

Yeah he really tore it up against Cal...oh wait. Sorry, that was two weeks ago. You must be referring to the game against the 87th best defense in the nation...

Oh and are you a Tebow/Ingram/McCoy fanatic? Yeah those guys play AWESOME teams week in and week out. The Big XII is really stacked this year.

Last I checked, Stanford's strength of schedule is better than UF, Alabama or Texas. Owned.

I think I saw somewhere in this thread someone mention another wave of decisions in December. Anyone know where that piece of information is from?
