Blehh... there's too many bowls these days. We need a playoff so bad it's stupid.

Ok. How do we know this? Not doubting you, but i would like to know your source.
Based on previous LSN cycles, it is highly likely that VS is correct.

I went under review on 11/09 and was hoping to be in the first group, since Dean Tom makes all of these initial decisions himself without consulting anyone else. The process should be more efficient than it is at most places.

I was complete 10/28 and under review 11/02, and I am just late enough that I think I'll be in the second wave (if I get in), but I'm terrified that I might be just early enough to be in the first batch. I am just going to be sitting there imagining the worst during the first wave, wondering if I was actually early enough and am being skipped over. Sighhh.

I am guilty of this kind of behavior as well, but are you really interested in what happens at Berkeley now that you're in at Harvard?

Not really, I guess. It's just that it would be nice to keep my winning streak going. As I mentioned in some other thread, I had a miserable experience in undergraduate admissions, so I relish each of these acceptances more than one might think.
I realize that this behavior is selfish though; sorry.
