+1 except it was 10/22. They should have my grades now though, assuming they've gotten the new batch of reports from LSAC. Hmm.

How long ago did you send yours and how quick was it processed?

I requested mine from my school the Monday before Christmas, so I expect it was actually mailed out that Tuesday. They processed it last Wednesday.

berkeley likes to do the "scattered acceptances that make everyone else freak out and get really excited and then get really depressed" instead of "nice, neat predictable waves of decisions," don't they.

(and before anyone goes "last year on LSN, there was a huge wave of rejections on 1/29"... i'm aware. "massive wave of rejections" just doesn't have the same nice ring as "massive wave of acceptances.")

Are we supposed to send fall grades as a general rule (to all schools) or is it optional?

Just received:

Dear Miss Optimism,
I write to inform you that your application at UC Berkeley Law School has passed an initial administrative review and has been selected for further consideration by the Faculty Admissions Committee. The Committee will begin deliberation on your application on January 29. We anticipate a final decision will be reached on or around February 19.
Thank you for your patience!

Just got this as well. I think I am happy it isn't a flat-out rejection. GPA a little above median, LSAT<25th, non-URM.

Thanks! UR since 10/22, so happy to hear something. I'm above both 75%s, but you never know with Berk...

For those with the committee review email, did your status checker change?
