Hey, be grateful that the fire is keeping you warm! (I kid, of course). Is that Chicago?
yes, sir!
Nice. I've never been there but would like to visit sometime, if only to see the Frank Lloyd Wright houses. If I had endless amounts of money, I'd like to live in one of them.
usually i wouldn't hijack a thread to discuss irrelevant things but it seems there are only 3 people on TLS now but yeah Chicago is the sexiest city in the world. Now hopefully the 91 firetrucks outside kill this damn fire and hope my neighbors are safe.

And how is this relevant to Berkeley?

sorry just making a reference to those who are complaining about Cali's "cold" weather.

Well winter in Cali might not compare to the hardcore winter of Chicago or New England... but the other day it was 29 degrees in palo alto (my friend said it snowed a little in sacramento) and London was a toasty 49. APOCALYPSE!

For me. I don't make predictions for other people

quick question... while i was obsessively combing through the LSN Berkeley page, I noticed a 12/10 admit. Think it's just a typo? I'm guessing it is, but my paranoia is getting the best of me.

maybe it was by e-mail sent yesterday, and they didn't checker until early this morning (or they're international and on a different time zone).

I'm sitting in class with my lecture notes covering my gmail, and a new email pops up and all I see is the first line which says:
"Ms. _______
Congratulations on your academic achievements..."

but it was from Rutgers Law. Sigh... talk about a let down.

Just to warn everyone, I was going through last year's thread and noticed that soon after the first couple waves of admits, there were committee review deferral emails. (this of course, is not totally bad news, but I know I would be furiously dissappointed if I was expecting something else)

Given my chances at Berkeley, I'd be pretty psyched to get a CR email! But obviously more excited if I got in.

Hoping for more good news for people today!

My app just went complete. Is there a consensus on how long it takes them to render a decision?
