Thanks guys. For all the crap I've talked about Berkeley since the tuition hikes, now I realize I was just playing hard to get. I think only a Yale, Stanford, or Columbia acceptance would sway me. That or a Mordecai .

I can't believe the offer to fly out for ASW.

Since submitting my app, though, I moved to SF from the East Coast. I told Dean Tom that a BART ticket would suffice.

Haha +1, I was a little bummed to not get the "we'll fly you out here" offer, but given that I live in SF, that wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. What does it cost to get to Berkeley from SF on BART? Like $3.10 or whatever? I think I can handle that.

I'd like to fly on principle. I'm going to request a flight from SFO to Oakland.

Berkeley seems to be far more highly regarded (among the average person) than the other T14 schools (except HYS). Obviously doesn't mean much, but still.

In at Berkeley via phone call from Dean Tom at around 2PM west coast! He called right before class but when I saw "510" I bolted out of class to take the call.

I don't know what's with my amazing luck this week... my stats are not Berkerley-worthy. Well, not the LSAT at least.

Thanks! He told me they'll fly me out April 9th... so I'll be on a plane for one hour from LA to Berkeley, hahaha. Well, I'll take it!
