For some reason I think you and I are ending up at the same school. Except I'll be a 3L when you're a 1L and will totally own you. The death sentence was only the beginning...VoidSix wrote:Thanks guys. For all the crap I've talked about Berkeley since the tuition hikes, now I realize I was just playing hard to get. I think only a Yale, Stanford, or Columbia acceptance would sway me. That or a Mordecai .
Good luck everyone.

VoidSix, with your numbers you will get into both Stanford and Columbia.

You wouldn't mind me owning you or you wouldn't mind getting into Stanford and Columbia?VoidSix wrote:I wouldn't mind =).

I'd like to fly on principle. I'm going to request a flight from SFO to Oakland.crackberry wrote:Haha +1, I was a little bummed to not get the "we'll fly you out here" offer, but given that I live in SF, that wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. What does it cost to get to Berkeley from SF on BART? Like $3.10 or whatever? I think I can handle that.Tangerine Gleam wrote:I can't believe the offer to fly out for ASW.
Since submitting my app, though, I moved to SF from the East Coast. I told Dean Tom that a BART ticket would suffice.

Has anyone gotten a call while at work?
I can imagine Dean Tom calling all the peeps still in college and avoiding those who are working full time, no?

Interesting polling data that I just came across:
http://www.gallup.com/poll/9109/Harvard ... ublic.aspx
Berkeley seems to be far more highly regarded (among the average person) than the other T14 schools (except HYS). Obviously doesn't mean much, but still.

just making sure you all saw this thread -- http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 20&t=97971
there isn't another law school out there with such a good sense of humor; i'd stake my (future and heavily indebted) career on it.

In at Berkeley via phone call from Dean Tom at around 2PM west coast! He called right before class but when I saw "510" I bolted out of class to take the call.
I don't know what's with my amazing luck this week... my stats are not Berkerley-worthy. Well, not the LSAT at least.

I'm kind of glad it's 5pm. Now I can get back to my life. Albeit a rather depressing one right now.
Congrats to all who got the call today! :)

Well, congrats to everyone who was admitted today. For those of us still waiting, here's to more acceptances tomorrow!! No decision is still better than a "no" decision...
