Re: Berkeley 2010
Has anyone heard from Berkeley other than those who have gotten in? As in WL, rejection, faculty/student review, etc? If so, is this done by email or snail mail?

The salient part:
Anonymous 3L at Berkeley, editor on the California Law Review: Perhaps the most important (and most difficult) advice is that you need to move on when the exam is over, either to prepping for your next exam, having a beer, or just generally getting on with your life. You might feel tempted to talk to your classmates about the exam, perhaps because you have nothing else to talk about (as your life of late was probably consumed with studying). Avoid this at all costs; at best you get affirmation in your answers (which could still be wrong), but at worst your start worrying that you missed something, which at this point is totally out of your control. . . . From my own experience and my friends, taking a law school exam can be defeating and leave students with the feeling that their days of studying were not properly translated to the answer they cranked out in three hours. Try your best not to dwell on those feelings.

I'd give Dean Tom some hot coffee if he'd let me in, if you know what I mean.aimhigh09 wrote:From Twitter feed:

Hmm... it's already 3:30pm. And the info session is from 3:00-4:30pm. This means phone calls will go out 4:30-5:00pm? (Even though calls =/= emails. )aimhigh09 wrote:From Twitter feed:

Guh, I need some hot coffee myself. Maybe a hot chocolate from Starbucks instead.

so.....they just randomly decide to call some folks, while others are done through email? seems strange to me.

Got really excited when I logged on Twitter today! A phone call from Boalt would make up for the non-news from YLS and SLS.

Love the Picasso avatar! Is it the reason why you're the most popular guy on LSN?violaboy wrote:I totally forgot that you haven't gotten in. Re: Berkeley 2010
Hmmm, that Twitter update was misleading. By "phone calls," perhaps they meant that they were phoning local restaurants for holiday dinner reservations.

Omg. You're probably right. That is, I think we all jumped to the conclusion that they were acceptance phone calls.managamy wrote:Hmmm, that Twitter update was misleading. By "phone calls," perhaps they meant that they were phoning local restaurants for holiday dinner reservations.

Re: Berkeley 2010
I suspect that the phone-call phase may be done, and the rest of the acceptances may be notified by email. But, mindful of the guillotine here, I am not making any official predictions.Saya wrote:Omg. You're probably right.
