Now if you had said "go brush your teeth"...

Besides, I'm the only non-inanimate object in my apartment, and it's cold outside.

People frequently find solace in inanimate objects. This is nothing to be ashamed of.

We'd better get this thread back on topic before anyone eavesdropping from Boalt concludes that a) we're a horde of lustful beasts or b) we associate Berkeley with the sublimation of our most depraved desires.

If you haven't been accepted after being complete for quite a while, aren't those the only three options? Unless I'm missing something, seems pretty safe to assume it's one of those three..

Absolutely! I'm laughing about it myself now.

EDIT: Not at Boalt, that is, but at my ridiculously overinflated expectations.

Hmm that's an important typo. I'm buddies with someone else on LSN that ends in 2010 so now I actually know who you are! I was wondering why you left Boalt out of your profile.. it all makes sense now.

True, that could be interpreted incorrectly (for those that don't know, I went to his UG and wasn't aware of any "apartments" on campus, which is why I asked). Go ahead and PM if you want.

Hey, be grateful that the fire is keeping you warm! (I kid, of course). Is that Chicago?

I think that he's responding to an earlier comment of mine where I mentioned the cold temperatures here, and is pointing out (rightly) that it's much colder in Chicago.

Nice. I've never been there but would like to visit sometime, if only to see the Frank Lloyd Wright houses. If I had endless amounts of money, I'd like to live in one of them.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
