Blehh... there's too many bowls these days. We need a playoff so bad it's stupid.

Ok. How do we know this? Not doubting you, but i would like to know your source.
Based on previous LSN cycles, it is highly likely that VS is correct. :D

I don't think this is true. Go to the LSN figures from last year and sort by decision date. The first big batch of acceptances seems to have come out on 12/2.

What? Go to last year and sort by decision date, and click on page 4. There's definitely a bunch of acceptances on 11/25 and 11/26.[/quote]

I stand corrected. Weird, I could have sworn they didn't show up last time I looked. But hey, I'll take it.

Not to make anyone even more neurotic, but the day is still young in Berkeley! Who knows?

I sorta flipped out earlier this morning. I wasn't logged in and thought for some reason (guess really tired) that there only 10 pages in this thread. So when I saw 21 I instantly went crazy. I definitely should not be going onto TLS with little sleep.

+1, only under review since 11/9 though so I probably still have awhile to wait.

Ugh. It would be funny if I got a call from Cal right when my hatred for the Bears is at an all-time high.

I didn't go under review until 11/09 so I'm not expecting to be in this first batch (if at all) but for those who applied slightly later, when do you think we'll start to hear back?

I went under review on 11/09 and was hoping to be in the first group, since Dean Tom makes all of these initial decisions himself without consulting anyone else. The process should be more efficient than it is at most places.

I am guilty of this kind of behavior as well, but are you really interested in what happens at Berkeley now that you're in at Harvard?

I was complete 10/28 and under review 11/02, and I am just late enough that I think I'll be in the second wave (if I get in), but I'm terrified that I might be just early enough to be in the first batch. I am just going to be sitting there imagining the worst during the first wave, wondering if I was actually early enough and am being skipped over. Sighhh.
I know how you feel. I went under review on the same day...

Not really, I guess. It's just that it would be nice to keep my winning streak going. As I mentioned in some other thread, I had a miserable experience in undergraduate admissions, so I relish each of these acceptances more than one might think.

I realize that this behavior is selfish though; sorry.

are you hands down going to harvard? if so, why not withdraw from other schools so other people can relish...

Not hands down going to HLS. There are a few other schools that I would consider, including this one. But obviously I'd be delighted to go to HLS!

so, you'd attend berkeley over harvard despite berkeley's skyrocketing tuition? i find that hard to believe...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
