I applied 1/31 (beyond late I know) and was UR on 2/2. I thought that was pretty fast. Is that usual? Or am I a bit to paranoid?

If it makes you feel any better, I applied 10/27, went under review 11/02, and haven't heard anything from Berkeley since that point. Good times.Heather85 wrote:I applied 1/31 (beyond late I know) and was UR on 2/2. I thought that was pretty fast. Is that usual? Or am I a bit to paranoid?

I've been under review for a month and a half. I don't expect good news at this point.

Don't worry too much. Last year, there was a batch of AR admits in early February, and then a fair number of admits via the second FR in March. You were probably UR too late for the first FR.daesonesb wrote:I've been under review for a month and a half. I don't expect good news at this point.

has anyone thought about creating a FR list like the Held By Harvard list?
Basically just showing everyone on TLS that said that went to FR and their numbers...

I wouldn't give up hope. I have been UR since 11/28. Kind of hope they would at least give me a rejection after waiting this long.qbid250ks wrote:been UR since 12/21. Haven't heard anything back yet. Is this a bad sign?

Re: Berkeley 2010
So, at what point do we start hoping for being placed in the second round of FR? Or is that an even worse situation than just sitting...waiting...? It seems like those e-mails went out sometime in the middle of February last year.

I've been UR since 11/30 with (what I thought were) autoadmit stats. WTF did I do wrong with my app?

How about a "Not Accepted, Not Rejected, No FR, No Waitlist....what the hell is my status?!?" Thread for those that fit the category? We could turn it into a support thread of sorts.TheWire wrote:has anyone thought about creating a FR list like the Held By Harvard list?

Umm, I think such a thread already exists. It's the one we are in right now.JetstoRJC wrote:How about a "Not Accepted, Not Rejected, No FR, No Waitlist....what the hell is my status?!?" Sorry, I just disagree with a proliferation of threads for each school. It's bad enough that Harvard has three threads. Please do not feed into another Berkeley thread. All the support and commiseration you need is right here.Veritas wrote:BUT WE NEED OUR OWN PLACE!existenz wrote:Umm, I think such a thread already exists. Sorry you don't understand. We need our own thread....and we will continue to pirate this thread as well.existenz wrote:Sorry, I just disagree with a proliferation of threads for each school.
