What was the time??? You have to be careful with the word "just." Was that now or at 2:42?

Dudes,

First of all congratulations to all the neurotics that have gotten in. Come visit.

To those who haven't heard back yet please remember this is a long process.

I applied on 11/18, was under review a couple weeks later and didn't get in until the end of February. Sure, it's some waiting, but no news is not necessarily bad news.

I'm in Seattle, Pacific Time! FYI for everyone, my ps was less than 2 pages. I've heard Ed Tom give lectures, and he says his biggest pet peeve is generic statements. But I didn't have anything else to say, and I didn't think 2 pages of puff would help me. It worked out!

LOL. So is that a yes for 2:42? Err... 11:42PST?

By generic statements, did he mean non-Berkeley-targeted? :(

Got the Berkeley email at 2:41 eastern time. Oh yeah! I'm better than all of you suckers by a minute. Got the phone call last week though, so it wasn't a surprise.

You didn't write Dean Tom four or five letters on this thread telling him how much you love (a) Berkeley collectively and (b) him individually.

It's a necessary condition for admittance.

This probably belongs here---I had a dream last night that Dean Tom sent me a carbon-copy of the application with a box at the bottom that said "Decision"...and the writing in this little box was too smudged to read because it was a shitty carbon copy. Ugh.

As Veritas' case plainly demonstrates.

Who Carbon Copies any more? This isn't the Flintstones. If Dean Tom sent me a Carbon Copy, I'd spit on it and throw it on the ground.
