you dont think dozo will come up with something? are you in state? dont forget tap if so

they haven't offered anything. i'm in san diego ... long ways away from the City, but my SO is there and i really want to be there as well. i'm glad i got into illinois but this is now a HARD decision since it's the highest ranked school i've gotten into so far. i guess i'll try to negotiate with dozo but i have no idea how to even start that conversation.

well next year you could do tap... it's only like $3000, but better than nothing...

Although I am pretty set on taking law school as an opportunity to move out of CA, I am very tempted and am interested to see if I get any other scholarships. Super excited about this!!

--ImageRemoved--

I honestly doubt it. I'm reallly sure I'll be in the top 1/3....so that isn't an issue for me. not to come off cocky, but i'm way over both of their medians.

Being over medians isn't a great indicator of 1L class rank. Don't take top 1/3 for granted.

yeah law school is different than taking the LSAT or undergrad work, everyone there is going to be competitive for one

No email, it said Decision Mailed 2/17 and Application Denied under status so I'm guessing they just send via snail mail. I got WL at Fordham the same way...no class

I went complete 11/30, I think I had two different UR dates but i honestly do not remember when they were, I think one was late Jan and the other early Feb?

Stats are in my profile, I wrote the diversity statement but no Why Penn. Hope this ia helpful.

Good luck!!

+1. I'm relieved to have cleared one hurdle, but now I'm super nervous. I hope I hold up to the intense scrutiny of FR.

In at Northwestern via their cryptic "check your status, a decision has been made" email. Definitely the meanest acceptance email I've received.

I had those flipflops before they became a craze. I am special.

...My brazillian friend was wearing them and I liked them so I picked up a pair in key west (only place I could find them...they weren't even on piperlime) and then my friend brought be back another color.

I see your trend-beating and raise you a "I had a pair handed to me by the Brazilian Ambassador to the US at a party at the Brazilian Embassy in DC." I was a congressional intern and somehow ended up at a party that most definitely was not tailored to interns. That little ID can open doors, however...

On page 99 of the thread I started back on October 14, 2009, now today in this the year of our Lord, 2010, I get to say I have been accepted to UC Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law.

I never thought I would get to say that. Amazing.

::hugs everyone. mumbles i love you and cries softly about the number 42 and the state of the universe (hey, it's berkeley)::
