Around what time did y'alls status change to DR yesterday?

The first time I checked it yesterday was around 10am and it was DR at that time.

My status switched sometime between 11am and noon, and I received a call around 2:45pm.

I would think they would admit more FT students considering there is an ASD this Friday. I know it's short notice, but I would bet at least some could make it.

I'd go! It's only 3 hours away for me.

Does anyone know if the same admissions committee admits PT and FT students, or are there separate admissions committees for each program? That would just really stink if FT admissions committee denied someone thinking they would get into PT and PT being full or something.

That wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. I'd imagine there is one admissions committee, with the chance that they have sub-committees for PT and FT. But I'd assume even under those circumstances that they act in concert.

Okay i just got off the phone with an admissions rep at SMU.

They are giving out decisions to both FT and PT applicants this week (they have already given out a few). They will still be finished by the end of April.

Ok, so looks like yesterday was PT apps....Lets go FT!!!!

ahhh I can't wait. So most of us will know by the end of this week, but if not, the end of next week?

By April 30, should be yes!

last years thread reveals that a ton of people didn't even get waitlisted until May 15th and most of them were FT applicants... so I'm not holding my breath considering that SMU has already made me waste $600 in deposits and probably won't give all of their decisions until mid May or the end of May even though they "say" all decisions will be rendered by April 30.

Last year, someone in the admissions department (I think Dean Keehan) was out for maternity leave, so they were understaffed. I think (and hope) that y'all will hear something by April 30.
