do phone calls come out the day of "decision rendered" updates? or do they come out a few day after?

I think the call should either be the day of DR or the next. I'm waiting just like the others--if no call by the end of tomorrow, I'll assume a rejection.

I just received the call--accepted PT with $8K per year!

DR as of this morning, FT only, Complete Mid January.. 157/3.7

I really want to go to SMU now. I applied FT only with a 3.5 from a Top 20 private school and a 162. What do you think my chances are?

I think my chances are better for the PT program, but I prefer FT. Is it too late to ask to be considered for PT too?

Really getting nervous, can anyone offer some empirical proof that i still have a shot? I applied for part time only (161, 3.41).

I remember a person last year with almost exact same stats and wanted to get in to SMU. I got in to PT today applying FT/PT this year. I am really happy about getting in.. I applied only FT last year. This person had similar stats like yours: http://lawschoolnumbers.com/smileyn. She kept talking to SMU and decided on PT after only applying FT... I think they offered her PT seat late. Maybe you should wait till you get accepted/waitlisted for FT program?!?!

I haven't heard anything from SMU yet. I applied PT, and the fact that I hadn't heard anything was a good thing, or so I though before this most recent batch of acceptances. I don't know whether this is a positive or a negative thing now.

Anybody from last year know anything? or anybody with insider knowledge know anything?

Congrats! Why didn't you apply FT this year? Are you planning on working?

I got into Houston, but I'm unhappy with their financial aid. My family also lives in Ft. Worth, so I would be closer to home. I'm afraid I will be rejected for FT, which is why I'm considering applying for PT now instead of waiting for the decision on FT. Anyone know how difficult it is to transfer from PT to FT?
