Looking forward to meeting some of you. We need some sort of TLS signal for orientation.

Edit - dammit. One class on Monday...I have to drive all the way in for one class.

Done, thanks for the reminder.

So, it's my understanding that Crespi is pretty much awesome. Any of the other section 1 teachers supposed to be the bee's knees?

I used a combination of amazon/other sites and the bookstore for books that I couldn't find a deal on. Grand total for the night = $863.00, saved around $250 by not buying exclusively from the bookstore.. hate to say it but thank god for the federal government

I have:

Palacios-Crim Law
Gaba-Property

Thanks!

Anyone receive this in their SMU inbox?

SMU received your request for financial aid. However, to be eligible for federal, state and/or

You must complete the appropriate documents or the request for information listed below
within three weeks from the date of this notice. If SMU does not receive the requested items,

I got something about that end of June and they just needed a copy of my birth certificate. I still haven gotten my award yet though. It's getting a little annoying.

Same

703 and 712 for me. It looks like we have 81 or 82 part-timers.
I got placed in 703 and LRW 709.

Is there a text for LRW? I've already bought textbooks for the others but none are shown for that class...

It's confirmed he uses Reno 911 clips as examples for class.

I got this as well. I went on access and realized I had signed my MPN for the Direct Plus loan but not for the stafford loans. When you click on Student Center just look on the right side for the to-do list and see if that's what you need to do. I wish they would confirm my grad plus loan already, it's only two weeks from disbursement time.

Does anyone know if we have to send in a separate form requesting a grad plus loan? I'm thinking if this is the case, that is why smu hasn't confirmed the big money yet. Kalvano, did you fill out a form on top of doing everything through studentloans.gov?

I just bought my books from Amazon for around $300. I bought used...but I only bought from the Amazon backed "prime" third parties and got free second day delivery with the student membership. I'm in the evening program, so I know you full-timers will have more books to purchase but it still looks like you can get a really good deal on Amazon if you're willing to buy used and you sign up for a membership.

Sorry I posted off topic and neglected to answer your question. There is no separate form to fill out. The gradplus application and MPN are done exclusively through the studentloans.gov website. Have you applied for the gradplus yet? Or are you not sure?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
