I would only e-mail it. They should confirm a couple of days after you send it that they received it and updated your file.

Whoops, sorry. She did give me a voicemail but didn't tell me that I was admitted, just saying that she would email me.

I got a call from a blocked number around 4:30 today. My heart started racing, and I breathlessly answered the phone...to hear my dad calling to see what's up.

CardinalRules is right. My dad's a physician, and apparently, he's started blocking his number when he's on call so that his patients can't just call him back whenever. This is a new tactic. I have since informed him that he is required to send me a text and let me know that he will be calling from a blocked number when he does so. Otherwise, I'll give myself all sorts of medical problems from rapidly accelerating and decelerating my heart rate.

So, my undergrad finally delivered the mail. There was a small, white envelope inside. With trepidation, I opened the mailbox... and it was my financial aid offer from Columbia.

So, at least I know I'm still in contention at Stanford. And probably headed for the waitlist.
