I would only e-mail it. They should confirm a couple of days after you send it that they received it and updated your file.somewhatwayward wrote:sorry to bump, but do i need to mail the LOCI as well?somewhatwayward wrote:just e-mailed my LOCI.....hope it is not too late...should i mail it as well?
I received a voicemail. So did a friend. I think that is her usual choice.ProudFather wrote:i thought i read either here or on LSN that she left voicemail for at least some people who missed calls.adameus wrote:do we have any actually confirmed admits today? i hope they haven't already made a decision!WhiskeyGuy wrote:I would only e-mail it. They should confirm a couple of days after you send it that they received it and updated your file.somewhatwayward wrote:just e-mailed my LOCI.....hope it is not too late...should i mail it as well?
+1 but hopefully since I applied very late my file will still be under review.somewhatwayward wrote:i hope they haven't already made a decision!WhiskeyGuy wrote:I would only e-mail it. Whoops, sorry. She did give me a voicemail but didn't tell me that I was admitted, just saying that she would email me.WhiskeyGuy wrote:I received a voicemail. So did a friend. You have your dad's # blocked?pleasepickme wrote:I got a call from a blocked number around 4:30 today. My heart started racing, and I breathlessly answered the phone...to hear my dad calling to see what's up.
I think that he means that his dad has a private-caller type of number (e.g., blocked on the dad's end). If not, though, please do elaborate.WhiskeyGuy wrote:You have your dad's # blocked?pleasepickme wrote:I got a call from a blocked number around 4:30 today. CardinalRules is right. My dad's a physician, and apparently, he's started blocking his number when he's on call so that his patients can't just call him back whenever. This is a new tactic. I have since informed him that he is required to send me a text and let me know that he will be calling from a blocked number when he does so. Otherwise, I'll give myself all sorts of medical problems from rapidly accelerating and decelerating my heart rate.WhiskeyGuy wrote:You have your dad's # blocked?pleasepickme wrote:I got a call from a blocked number around 4:30 today. Jealous. CLS impresses the shit out of me.BenJ wrote:So, my undergrad finally delivered the mail. There was a small, white envelope inside. With trepidation, I opened the mailbox... and it was my financial aid offer from Columbia.
So, at least I know I'm still in contention at Stanford. And probably headed for the waitlist.
Maybe you'll get my spot. I'm withdrawing tomorrow and depositing at NYU to keep the NYU scholarship.Core wrote:Jealous. Whoops, I got confused and thought that we were talking about CLS. The antecedents got a bit tangled, I think.Kretzy wrote:

Ah, gotcha. I was honestly a little surprised (for you to do it now, not that this might not be your final decision).CardinalRules wrote:Whoops, I got confused and thought that we were talking about CLS. The antecedents got a bit tangled, I think.Kretzy wrote:

I was talking about CLS, for the record, so his post made sense provided he was addressing Core and not me.Kretzy wrote:Ah, gotcha.
