when did you go complete, and did you do any stanford-specific things in your app (eg, have your rec writers use stanford's special form c or write specifically about stanford in your PS?)

I think I got the complete e-mail sometime in December, or rather should have received it according to their office, but never did. I submitted apps in late October. I didn't do anything Stanford specific, other than praying for it on a daily basis. Still thrilled - probably will be for the next 3 1/2 years. Good luck!

That's the rumor, but I doubt it. They make a lot more sense in the Big XII. But they're playing poorly enough in basketball to join the Pac-10 this year.
