Actually looks like there were two batches - mid January, and early Feb. I'm surprised we haven't seen any yet this year.VoidSix wrote:GTFO.MellonCollie wrote:Hm, looks like a big batch of rejections also went out around this time last year....

Re: Stanford 2010!!!
And that's why being an international applicant sucks. It will take FOREVER to get here (assuming I was rejected haha).

do all acceptances come via phonecall followed by email, or do they switch to just email at some point?

Congratulations! Complete date? Also, I saw you were a retaker (fellow retaker pride). Did you write an addendum?teach12 wrote:Just got my acceptance today!

I was a retaker and did not write an addendum. I got in on 12/11.mochafury wrote:Congratulations! Complete date? Also, I saw you were a retaker (fellow retaker pride). Did you write an addendum?teach12 wrote:Just got my acceptance today!

Re: Stanford 2010!!!
This is anecdotal, but I know of three SLS applicants (including Crackberry) that were accepted despite having multiple LSAT scores. None of the three submitted an addendum.mochafury wrote:Congratulations! Complete date? Also, I saw you were a retaker (fellow retaker pride). I didn't write an addendum, but my scores were not all that different (169/172), and there were no special citcumstances to explain why the first score was lower (I just bombed logic games). Good luck with your app!

Re: Stanford 2010!!!
If there's a significant difference between the scores and you have a good argument for why they should weight the higher/highest score more heavily, you should write an addendum, short and sweet. I wrote one to explain a 171/178 (I was sick the first time around and scored significantly below my PT average) and got the call from Dean Deal last Friday. It's a judgment call.Dignan wrote:This is anecdotal, but I know of three SLS applicants (including Crackberry) that were accepted despite having multiple LSAT scores. Re: Stanford 2010!!!
Just FYI, the first SLS rejection of this cycle is being reported on LSN:

It's making me a little nervous about what might be in my mailbox when I get home.

Not really what I was hoping to get famous for, but I'll take it. I'm in LA by the way, so presumably more people will be receiving them over the next few days. And I've got to say, the sting of disappointment is vastly preferable to the long agonizing death march of anticipation.
Your rejection is noteworthy not just because you are the first, but also because you appear to be a fairly strong candidate. You certainly don't have auto-deny numbers. Anyway, I'm glad you found a silver lining. I'm sure it's better to have the band-aid ripped off quickly.
